Family photos are for the memories; kiddos grow up so fast. It can be difficult to get everyone together for a photo in daily life - that’s why I’m here. Most families prefer to stay close to their town to not have to worry about children getting tired. Photos last a lifetime and are passed down to next generations. You’ll be grateful for photos years down the line.

Couple

Engaged and married couples wanting a shoot with their love, I am here to take emotional and romantic photos. Couples tend to travel to epic locations; making the photos that much better. Your person is your best friend, it’s important to have photos of you two together.

Branding

Portrait shoots are good for achievements such as graduating, and for fun such as a themed shoot. Having a theme based on your personality and your hobbies is super cute. Branding shoots are for your business growth. A studio branding shoot tends to be popular but can be done outdoors as well. Every business needs photos; hairstylist, real estate agent, photographer. I’m here to capture it all.

About Me

I have a Bachelor degree working in the field of Accounting and I love it. Having photography as a creative outlet keeps things balanced and fun for me! I treasure my family and my church community. God really has blessed me in life - He has given Himself to me; He has given me eternal life with Him and nothing can take that away from me. He is my hope no matter what comes my way. Every blessing and gift is from God; including this little side hustle of mine.

Love being outdoors on sunny days but also staying cozy indoors with a cup of coffee on a gloomy day. I enjoy long walks, music, movies, books, nature, love me some yummy food and spending time with people I love.

Experience

My experience includes; married couple shoots, engagement shoots, portrait shoots, maternity shoots, family shoots, extended family shoots, second wedding shooter, weddings, real estate shoots, business branding, Christmas photos, both in nature and in studio.

I have been attaining experience since 2018 - I have realized that my heart is in Family and Couple shooting!

Photography Journey

My love for photography began with my parents and siblings taking many photos of the family to keep and store as memories. I would look at the family albums over and over as a little girl.

At age 12, I knew I wanted a professional camera of my own. I was gifted my first camera on my 15th Birthday. I would take the camera with me to many places; friends and family noticed.

People started to ask if I’m a photographer and if I gave out shoots. I had my first family shoot at 18. I practiced and developed the skill more and more with every shoot.

While I was getting my Bachelor degree in Accounting at Oregon State University, photography was my side hustle. People kept asking for their photos to be taken by me.

In 2023, I decided that photography is something I will always enjoy - Susan.Rose.Photo LLC bloomed. Photography is a creative outlet that makes me happy.
