About Me

I am a Christian, every good gift is from above - including this business! I love spending time with my family, friends, and my church community. I enjoy being outdoors on sunny days but also staying cozy indoors with a cup of coffee on a gloomy day. I enjoy long walks, music, movies, books, nature, exploring new places and yummy food. I am outgoing at events and I can talk to people freely, however, I am actually an introvert!

My experience includes; married couple shoots, engagement shoots, portrait shoots, maternity shoots, family shoots, extended family shoots, second wedding shooter, weddings, business branding, Christmas photos, both in nature and in studio.

Family

Family photos are for the memories; kiddos grow up so fast. It can be difficult to get everyone together for a photo in daily life - that’s why I’m here. Most families prefer to stay close to their town to not have to worry about children getting tired. Photos last a lifetime and are passed down to next generations. You and your kids will be grateful for the photos years down the line.

Couple

Engaged and married couples wanting a shoot with their love, I am here to take emotional and romantic photos. Couples tend to travel to epic locations; making the photos that much better. Your person is your best friend, it’s important to have photos of you two together. Couple shoots are some of my favorite because couples have so much chemistry and emotion, making the pictures so natural and beautiful.

Branding

Portrait shoots are good for achievements such as graduating, and for fun such as a themed shoot. Having a theme based on your personality and your hobbies is super cute. Branding shoots are for your business growth. A studio branding shoot tends to be popular but can be done outdoors as well. Every business needs photos; hairstylist, real estate agent, photographer. I’m here to capture it all.

Photography Journey

My love for photography began with my parents and siblings taking many photos of the family to keep as memories. I would look at the family albums over and over as a little girl.

Fun fact: my grandpa was the main photographer in his town back in the day.

At age 12, I knew I wanted a professional camera of my own and got my first camera at 15. I would take the camera with me to many places and people noticed.

I had my first family shoot at 18. People asked for me to take their photos; I practiced and developed the skill more and more with every shoot.

In 2023, I decided that photography will always be something that makes me happy and something that I enjoy - that is when Susan.Rose.Photo LLC bloomed!
